Gary Shannon left South Fremantle High School and took up an apprenticeship as an Electrical Fitter.

He's not sure how, and neither are we, but this somehow lead to a 38 year career in radio.

Other than waking up Perth every weekday morning from 5.30am, Gary enjoys long walks on the beach with his partner Lauren, and getting to bed at the same time as Fat Cat!
