Mark Salling Pleads Guilty To Possession Of Child Porn
The US media are reporting that Mark Salling has pleaded guilty to two counts of child pornography and could face up to seven years jail time.
The 35-year-old, best known for his role as Noah "Puck" Puckerman in Glee, was arrested in 2015 after one of his ex-girlfriends tipped off police.
Investigating officers found 50,000 "sexually charged" images on Salling's computer and the case was referred to federal authorities.
While Salling was initially facing 20 years in prison, it's now believed that prosecutors are pushing for between four and seven years with 20 years of supervised release.
The actor has also agreed to pay $50,000 compensation to each of the children in the photos.

LAPD Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force commander Lieutenant Andrea Grossman slammed Salling, saying that it "doesn't matter who you are or what you do, if you hurt a child you will be held accountable."
"These images are more than photographs, they are child abuse," she added.
Salling's ex-girlfriend Roxanne Gorzela had previously sued him for sexual battery, claiming she was forced to have unprotected sex with him before he shoved her to the ground and caused her injury.
He admitted to causing her to fall and the case was settled for a reported $2.7 million.
