Bindi Irwin Shares Emotional Unseen Footage Of Steve

Steve Irwin may have passed away almost 12 years ago but his legacy lives on.

His children, Bindi and Bob, alongside their mum Terri, have made sure that his wildlife conservation projects have gone from strength to strength and that his love for animals is passed on.

And while his untimely death took him from the world too soon, it seems his ultimate goal was always to hand down his legacy to his children.

Never before seen footage has recently emerged and been posted by Bindi Irwin on Instagram, and it's emotional for so many reasons.

One think we know is that Steve would be very proud of his family as he looks down from above.

Even Bindi had never seen this interview before last week, so we can only imagine how she felt while watching.

In the emotional snippet, Steve goes on to say that the only time he will step back from his work is when his children are ready to step up to the plate and take over.

Bindi's reaction was everything.

"My first time watching this footage was only a few days ago," the Instagram post began.

"I don’t think I’ll ever be able to describe the amount of emotion in my heart once the video ended.

"My dad. My superhero.

"I promise to do my best to make you proud and ensure your legacy lives on forever.

"A new chapter in our lives has begun as we embark on this journey with @animalplanet. There is so much on the horizon. We can’t wait to share our story as a family."
