Production Shut Down On Set Of "13 Reasons Why"

Production has been halted on the set of 13 Reasons Why due to the terrifying wildfires raging in Northern California.

Deadline are reporting that the decision was made yesterday to shut down the set and fly some of the cast and crew home "since many of them live in the fire zones."

The devastating fires have so far killed at least 17 people, with hundreds of people being treated for smoke-related injuries and more than 180 people missing.

A number of the cast have taken to social media to lend their support to those affected by the wildfires, including lead actor Dylan Minnette.

"We film 13 Reasons Why in many of the areas in NorCal affected by these devastating fires," he Tweeted. "Sending love and thoughts to everyone involved."

It's not yet known whether the temporary shut-down will push back the release of the highly anticipated second season, which is slated to drop early next year.
