Countdown Is Returning To Sunday Nights On The ABC!

It's fair to say Sunday nights have never been the same since Countdown finished on our telly's way back in 1987.
But now comes the AMAZING news that Countdown is returning to the ABC!
The national broadcaster has revealed that starting Sunday September 13 they will be airing a new series called Classic Countdown which will run over thirteen weeks, airing at the original time of 6pm.
Each episode will focus on a different year, and will feature restored footage featuring iconic performances from artists including Elton John, Tina Turner, ABBA, David Bowie and Kate Bush, as well as some of Molly's most memorable moments including classic interviews and his bold predictions from his Humdrum segment. ("The Knack could be the new Beatles" was one of his best!)
We can't wait to take this walk down memory lane and will be dusting off our flares and blu tacking our Daryl Braithwaite posters back up on our bedroom wall in anticipation!
