So This Is What Those ‘Lion King’ Intro Lyrics Mean

The Lion King has to be one of the most iconic Disney movies of all time.
We know almost every word and still cry over THAT scene with Simba and his Dad (emotional rollercoaster guys).
But who really knew what the hell that guy was singing during the opening song?
One clever Tumblr user has been busy translating the lyrics so you can look super talented the next time Circle Of Life comes on the radio.
"Nants ingonyama bagithi baba/ Sithi uhhmm ingonyama" are the Zulu words belted out during the opening bars of this song and they mean : "there comes a lion/ oh yes, it's a lion."
Not exactly groundbreaking, given that two lions ended up having... a lion, but iconic nonetheless!
