Biggest Twist In This Years 'The Block' Has Already Happened

The new Block contestants are going to face the biggest season of the show ever with the relocation of five weatherboard homes being planted in Elsternwick, just a smidge south of the Melbourne CBD.
Instead of the couples building new townhouses this year's show will involve 5 relocated old weatherboard homes at 46 Regent Street.
One of the homes is already in place, with filming getting underway next month.
Local real estate director Bill Stavrakis told Fairfax that period homes in the area were selling for anywhere between $2.5 million and $5 million.
Nine is understood to have paid $10.34 million for the vacant site near Ripponlea, which settled in January.
