The Crown Just Cast The Perfect Actress To Play Margaret
The creators of the binge-worthy series The Crown has just announced that Helena Bonham Carter has been announced to join season three to play Princess Margaret.
The Crown follows the life of the royal family with the first season being based on the time period between 1947 and 1955.
The second season took on 1956 through to 1963.

The series creator always promised that the cast would be refreshed at times to mirror the ageing characters.
Carter will pick up the role where former Princess Margaret actress, Vanessa Kirby, lets off.
“I’m not sure which I’m more terrified about – doing justice to the real Princess Margaret or following in the shoes of Vanessa Kirby’s Princess Margaret," Carter said of the casting.
“The only thing I can guarantee is that I’ll be shorter [than Vanessa].”
You would know the actress from her vast number of movie credits, from Harry Potter to Sweeney Todd, Les Miserables, Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
She was also formerly married to director Tim Burton.
(Fun fact: She actually played Queen Elizabeth in the 2010 version of The King's Speech.)
