Karl Stefanovic Has Made A Bizarre Speech On TV

Just a couple of days after saying he would never attend the Logies awards because they are no longer in Melbourne, Karl Stefanovic has complete backtracked.

The 43-year-old told TV Week today “I think I should definitely be hosting it.”

“It will be fun and great to have it here. Queenslanders love their TV and they will come and support it for sure.”

Stefanovic even suggested it was time for his co-stars to win a top gong.

“I think it’s time for Lisa Wilkinson and Sylvia Jeffreys to win a Gold Logie,” he told the publication.

“I’d love them to take it out, they are the best females hosts in the country, they deserve the accolades. After all, they do work with me every day.”

Just four days ago, however, Karl said “I’m telling you right now — if the Logies move from Melbourne I’m boycotting them. I will not be going to the Logies if they’re outside of Melbourne,”

“This is a joke of giant proportions — Daniel Andrews has lost the plot completely.’’

“For $1 million the advertising Victoria gets is second to none. You may as well have the Ekka in Perth. You may as well have the Hamilton Island race week on Fitzroy Island.

“This is disgusting and I will be boycotting the Logies until they’re back in Melbourne at Crown Casino.”
