Lady Gaga Reveals ENORMOUS New Tattoo To Celebrate Grammys
You could never accuse Lady Gaga of not committing to a theme.
The over-the-top singer has already had a hectic fortnight, starting with confirmation of a new romance and a killer Super Bowl performance and winding up with Sunday's chaotic, hyped-up appearance alongside Metallica at the Grammy Awards.
And just in case she wasn't busy enough, Gaga decided to celebrate the latter - which Metallica's Lars Ulrich called a "clusterf*ck" - with an enormous tattoo dedicated to the heavy metal band.
She uploaded a snap of the back-covering tatt to Instagram shortly before the ceremony, captioning it "The Moth & Metallica" and including a pretty cute #MetalliGa hashtag.
Gaga and Metallica's duet was fraught with technical difficulties, with James Hetfield's lead vocal mic dropping out completely at one point during the song.
"It was totally energetic and crazy," Ulrich later said. "It was just energy and excitement and nuttiness, so her being right in my face just added to the whole exhilarating energy that was happening for those few minutes.
"I haven't seen it yet, but I've gotten 700 texts from people just saying the chaos and tornado-like energy of it really translated well on TV."
And, it seems, on Gaga's back.
