Looks Like There Is Some HUGE Adele News On The Way
Adele is being scouted to write and record the next James Bond theme song after the huge success of 2012’s Skyfall.
UK newspaper The Mirror is reporting that producer Barbara Broccoli (real name) has her sights set on Adele to provide the music for the new movie, which as yet doesn’t even have a name.
The paper says Broccoli is “determined” to nail down the singer as the film’s featured vocalist.
Skyfall was the most successful Bond movie of all time, with more than $1 billion made at the box office and stands as the highest ever grossing movie for Sony Pictures.
Adele’s ‘Skyfall’ theme also became the firstBond theme to win a Oscar, as well as a BRIT award, Golden Globe and a Grammy.
Broccoli has also reportedly secured Daniel Craig to reprise his role as Bond for the fifth time, though he previously said he’d “rather slash his wrists” than play the part again.
“Craig and Adele together are the winning team, the ultimate choice, the money spinners,” a source told the site.
“It’s taken time but Daniel has come round and the strong consensus in the Bond offices is that Mr Craig is 007 again. As for Adele, she’s more of an unknown quantity but loved being part of Bond, so the signs are positive.”
