Netflix's American Vandal. Real or Fake?
Have you seen the Netflix true-crime show "American Vandal" appearing in your recommended feed recently? Maybe now's the time to add it to your queue.
It's actually a SATIRE of true-crime series like Making a Murderer and The People v. O.J. Simpson, and it's done so well, it's fooling people into thinking the "incident" actually occurred.
The young cast is so flawless in their parodying of the genre but creating an 8 episode series around the crime of C&B-ing teachers' cars in small-town America is really the work of Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault who have previously worked at CollegeHumor and Funny or Die.
Let's hope it doesn't inspire some life-imitating-art copycats...
