Beautiful Bride Embraces Alopecia On Her Wedding Day
Alopecia is an autoimmune disease in which hair is lost from some or all areas of the body, most commonly the scalp. Kylie Bramberger, now 27, has lived with the condition since the age of 12.
Bramberger has no hair on her scalp, eyelashes, or eyebrows. While she opted for treatment after treatment at first to fight her condition, she's now since 2005 been shaving her head and has come to fully accept her condition. Bramberger now also helps others by being a motivational speaker for those dealing with hair loss.
Fast-forward a few years to when it finally came to her wedding day, she knew she wanted to walk down the aisle "feeling different," according to InsideEdition.com.
"I really enjoy standing out," Bramberger said.
She also knew "there was no way [she] was going to wear a wig at [her] wedding."
So the 27-year-old bride walked down the aisle in all her beauty and had a gorgeous wedding day surrounded by loved ones... "couldn't have asked for a better backbone than these beautiful girls right here. It was a perfect day."
