Kind-Hearted Aussie Steps In To Pay For Stranger's Groceries
A photo of a generous Sydney man stepping in to pay for an elderly stranger's groceries has gone viral, with many heaping praise on the random act of kindness.
The snap was taken and posted to Twitter by a passerby named Luke, who witnessed the big-hearted gesture at a Coles on the NSW Central Coast.
"This guy at Wyoming Coles who just went through the register with his two kids paid for this lady's groceries when her card kept declining," Luke wrote.
"She wanted to pay him back eventually and he just said 'Don't worry, have a good day.'"

Couldn't fit this in the original tweet but she wanted to pay him back eventually and he just said "Don't worry, have a good day" https://t.co/9PopSHl6MT— Luke (@Boycey1105) February 28, 2017

"Absolute champion," one user replied. "Should be more people like him in this world. If we all knew how to give, think of how amazing life would be?"
Another, Bernadette Brennan, agreed, saying: "The world, while seemingly drowning in paranoia and hate, just keeps giving. Thanks for sharing."
