Soccer Fans Take Dead Mate’s Coffin To ‘Watch’ Match
Friends of a teenager who was killed playing soccer took the coffin holding his body to a match in Colombia.
The day before, Christopher Jácome, 17, was fatally shot on the field.
Thing is, his mates decided that he shouldn’t have to miss out on ‘watching’ his beloved team, Cúcuta Deportivo.
After getting permission from the family, they carried the coffin into the game against Envigado at General Santander Stadium.
According to one tweet, his team had been losing but moments after the coffin arrived, the score equalised - and consequently ended - at 1-1.
