The Big Change To The Next Series Of Married At First Sight
Channel Nine has confirmed that its controversial reality TV show, Married At First Sight, will return in 2017 with an extended format that will set out to beat My Kitchen Rules.
The show will premiere in February and will feature 20 contestants and ten new weddings.
The cameras will the follow the couples more intensely and over a longer period than in the previous series.
Channel Nine has constantly fallen behind My Kitchen Rules each year, leaving them behind in the ratings for three months of the year.
The series is now going to be shown in an earlier time slot and will take over the slot currently taken by The Block at 7:30 PM.
