The Supermarket Chain That Is Saying SORRY For Empty Shelves
Posted on August 06, 2016
After shelves were left empty in supermarkets this week following a strike by production workers, one supermarket has taken it upon themselves to say sorry.
Woolworths will be offering all customers 10% off their fruit purchases this weekend as the shelves begin to see product on them again.
Social media lit up earlier in the week, showing shelves completely empty as supermarkets struggled to keep up with demand while staff were on strike.
The deal will last until stores close on Sunday, so get your skates on!
