McDonald's Creates A "Walk-Thru" For Drunk Customers

Let's face it, you'd be pretty hard-pressed to find someone who hasn't demanded their taxi take them home via McDonald's after a night of lemonades and dancing.

But what happens when you just need six chicken nuggets and a thickshake and no-one will help you out?

What happens if - perish the thought - you can only get dropped off outside McDonald's, and can't use the drive-thru?

That's where a Welsh McDonald's a.k.a. the hero of our times comes in: The UK-based fast food outlet has opened a dedicated "walk-thru" lane for its hungry customers.

The feature in Llandudno, North Wales is open from 2am to 4am on weekend nights, which, to be fair, is pretty much the only time it would be used.

The restaurant trialled the new lane last weekend to understandably immediate success, and have since made it a permanent fixture.

Who do we have to talk to about a couple in Sydney?
