After Hawthorn didn't want him and the Foo Fighters didn't need a guitarist who can play 1 song, Potts went to Sydney to study at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.

Having spent the past 5 years in North Queensland battling cyclones, floods and backpackers, Potts has returned home to be part of the station he grew up listening to.

At 96FM, Potts combines his two major loves outside his family- rock music and sport. If there's guitars and drums in the song, it will be on his iPod. And if it's caught, thrown, kicked or hit Potts will let you know about it. Just don't get him started on the Hawks...
