'Milk Coke' Is A Thing And We Don't Know How To React

Milk Coke - or the horrific result of mixing Coca-Cola and milk - has divided the internet.

It started when comedy writer James Felton shared a picture of him making and drinking it on Twitter, and that it wasn’t just him, but that Milk Coke was popular in Birmingham.

"Milk coke is a real thing. Brummies love it," he wrote on Twitter.

"We can all move on from this discussion now, I will be taking no further questions."

It was met with delight, disgust, upset and confusion.

Those who were into it compared it to a coke float, made with coke and ice cream - or as we call it in Australia, a spider.

Another said: "It's weird to me that milk coke isn't common knowledge. My parents introduced us to soda/milk combo when I was like four - so 24 years ago, give or take. At the time it was called "bop" or "brown cow" and yes, if done correctly it was amazing."

"Do people not realize that this whole milk Coke debate is essentially just drinking an ice cream float? How are you appalled by this?"
