Uber Releases Lost & Found List... And It's Weird

If you’re anything like me, you’ve left your phone in an Uber. Twice.

But have you left a wig in an Uber?

According to the ride-sharing company’s ‘Lost & Found Index’, someone has.

They also found that over the last 12 months, 64,484 Aussies left something behind in an Uber.

Here’s the breakdown:

The most common day to lose an item is Saturday. In second place: Sunday.

Melbourne lost more items than any other Australian city

Phones were the most common items left in Ubers in 2017, but here are some of the highlights:

X-rays

18k gold smoke pipe

A Boom Box

A gold wedding band

An LCD TV

Ultrasound scans

A wig

A shotgun belt

If you do lose something in an Uber, here’s a reminder of how you can get it back.

- Tap “Your Trips” and select the trip where you left something

- Tap “I lost an item”

- Tap “Contact driver about a lost item”

- Scroll down and enter the phone number you would like to be contacted at and tap submit. If you lost your phone, enter a mate’s number.

Your phone (or your mate’s phone) will ring and connect you directly with your driver’s mobile number.

BRB, gotta go collect my wig.
