Brisbane Police Stakeout Ends After Realising No One Is Home
Posted on October 14, 2016
Police have spent more than five hours staking out a Brisbane house in the hunt for a wanted man, only to find no one was home.
Officers arrived at the Morayfield home around 2.40pm on Thursday and, believing the man to be inside, issued an emergency declaration nearly three hours later.
Police have revoked an emergency declaration made under the Public Safety Preservation Act in Morayfield tonight.https://t.co/YdRNULDaTW— QPS Media Unit (@QPSmedia) October 13, 2016
But it was revoked around 8pm after police worked out he wasn't there at all.
Police would not say what the man was wanted for.
