Crash Victims Seen Taking SELFIES After Near-Death Accident

A man and a woman whose car smashed into a power pole were spotted taking selfies just moments after emergency services cut them from the wreckage.
The pair seemingly didn’t understand how close to fatal their accident had been, snapping photos while Fire and Rescue freed them in Sydney’s south-west.
The crash happened in Canley Vale at about 11pm last night.
It was nearly an hour until the 21-year-old man was removed from the P-plated Honda Civic, with emergency service working to cut off the roof of the car - although that didn’t stop him from documenting the process with his phone.
A woman, 25, was also in the car; both were taken to Liverpool Hospital with non-life threatening conditions.
