Child On Qantas Flight To WA Has Measles

A child on a Qantas flight from Adelaide to Perth has been diagnosed with measles, prompting a warning that others on the plane and in the baggage collection area may have been exposed to the illness.

The WA Department of Health says people who travelled on QF585 from Adelaide to Perth on Saturday from 2pm to 3.55pm should be alert to an increased risk of measles.

Passengers on the flight, especially those seated near row 12, and people in the arrival area as late as 5pm, were potentially exposed and could be at risk if they are not immune.
