Hayne's Alleged Victim Bled Profusely As He Had A Cab Wait

It's alleged that NRL Jarryd Hayne bit a woman leaving her with injuries so serious that she required hospitalisation.

Prosecutors are expected to claim that Hayne asked a taxi driver to wait for him after he arrived at the woman’s home on the night of the alleged incident.

It's understood Hayne then left the woman's home alone about 20 minutes later.

Hayne, 30, reported to Castle Hill police station on Tuesday night as part of his strict bail conditions.

He spent around five minutes inside the station before leaving in a 4WD surrounded by waiting media.

Hayne was bailed on a surety of $20,000 and must report to a Sydney police station three times a week after being charged with aggravated sexual assault.

He has also handed in his passport as part of the bail conditions.

The Daily Telegraph reports that police will allege Hayne was in the Hunter Region on September 30 and started communicating with the 26-year-old woman on social media, before going to her home.

She claims Hayne went into a bedroom in the house and took off her clothes.

Police will allege he then bit her, causing profuse bleeding and injuries that resulted in her hospitalisation.

It's believed that the woman’s mother was at the house during the time of the incident.

It’s alleged Hayne took a cab to the address and told the driver he would be back in about 20 minutes before going inside, emerging a short time later.
