Posted on September 30, 2016
Police in Western Australia have confirmed a gang of 10 children - aged between four and eight - have been repeatedly vandalising a church.
Authorities say they are powerless to act because they children are so young.
WA Today reports children under the age of 10 are not deemed criminally responsible fot their actions and cannot be charged. Therefore, even though police know the kids are repeatedly throwing stones throygh the glass windows, nothing can be done.
Corrigin resident and church-goer Neil Bowron said he reported the incidents to the police.
"There's not much you can do. You can't put them in jail, you can't charge them. The kids know that," Mr Bowron said.
