Murder Charge Over Stabbed Social Worker
A 37-year-old man has been accused of murdering a social worker who stumbled into a Dome café after being stabbed in the neck in Rockingham on Saturday.
The social worker, 50, had dropped in to see a client at a block of units where it’s believed she was stabbed in the neck.
She then managed to drive herself about 500 metres to the busy café on Kent Street to get help about 6pm and horrified staff called an ambulance.
She was taken to Fiona Stanley Hospital where she later died.
The man will appear in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on Monday.
The café remains closed as staff receive counselling.
