Perth Weather: 'Almost Antarctic' Winds Headed Our Way

While our mates over east are set for melted Easter eggs this weekend, it ain’t the same story in WA.

You're gonna need your uggies on Thursday night because a cold front, which the Bureau of Meteorology have called “almost Antarctic”, will hit the south-west of the state, bringing with it a stack of rain.

As for Good Friday? Keep your uggies on.

"Maximum temperatures will drop significantly," Adam Morgan from BOM said.

"We’re looking at maximums around 8-12 degrees below average."

It’s also looking likely that Bluff Knoll, 350 kilometres south-east of Perth, will get some snow.

Things look like they’ll fine-up for Easter Sunday after a chilly morning, which is perfect for egg-hunters – meaning your Elegant Rabbit or Humpty Dumpty eggs are unlikely to end up a soft mess behind the succulents (not like our mates over east lol)

Here’s the forecast…
