Security Guard At WA Schoolies Event Charged
Three security guards have been removed from a school leavers event in WA, including one who was charged with assaulting a public officer and is suspected of possessing methamphetamine.
Police attended the leavers entertainment zone in Quindalup, near Yallingup, about 8pm on Thursday where they saw two male guards, aged 22 and 26, behaving erratically and removed them.
A third guard allegedly became aggressive while being questioned and tried to run away, forcing police to restrain him but he bit a male senior constable on the hand during the struggle.
Police searched the 22-year-old man and found what is believed to be methamphetamine, but further testing will be required.
