Search For Lost Snake Bite Victim Continues

The search for a man who believed he was bitten by a snake before seemingly disappearing into bushland in Kelmscott will continue Tuesday morning.

Nathan Scattini, 41, walking in bushland on Sunday when, about 6.40pm, he called 000 believing he had been bitten by a snake.

He couldn’t give St John Ambulance his location.

Mr Scattini is described as fair-skinned, about 175cm tall with a medium build and short dark hair.

He is wearing a black top, short, sneakers and sunglasses.

The search for Mr Scattini kicked off on Sunday night, but a police chopper fitted with a heat-seeking infra-red camera couldn’t trace him.

The search will continue Tuesday along both sides of the Tonkin Highway.

If you see him, call 000 immediately.
