FIFO Worker Dreams Of Opening Animal Refuge After $7.5M Win

A Mid-West FIFO worker says life was “looking rosy” after claiming his $7.5 million lotto win on Tuesday.

On the top of his list? Taking his mum on a cruise and getting a couple of marrow bones for his doggos.

He also said that the cash will also allow him to take a break from working more than 13 hours a day, 7 days a week.

“It’s hard going and it’s time to take a break now,” he told PerthNow.

“Family is number one and I can spend more time with them – life is looking rosy.

“On the top of the list is spoiling mum and taking her on a cruise. It’s been tough for her the last few years with bad health.”

He also has plans to open an animal refuge.

“This has given me the time and energy to do it – I just love animals, especially my dogs,” he said.

“They’ll be getting spoilt too – a couple of giant marrow bones and even new beds.”
