Woman offers classic Aussie excuse sitting in stolen car
A woman has been arrested after she was found sitting in a stolen Subaru.
Police noticed a blue Subaru suspiciously parked behind a sign at a servo just after 2am on Thursday in Seaton, South Australia.
They stopped and spoke to the female driver, who said she was waiting for a friend.
A check revealed the car had been stolen more than two weeks ago.
The 24-year-old woman was arrested and charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle, she has been bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
