WA's Transit Clothing To Shut Stores

Just days after iconic Perth jeweller Rosendorff closed, WA-founded Transit Clothing have announced, you know, same.

Soft consumer demand, falling sales revenue and store-leasing costs were to blame, WAtoday reported.

Four stores, including Mandurah, Dunsborough, Perth DFO and Clarkson, will close immediately.

Up to 45 staff from those stores will be made redundant.

The remaining stores - Lakeside Joondalup, Watertown outlet, Westfield Carousel, Belmont Forum and Cockburn Gateway - are tipped to have sales offering up to 70 per cent off from Thursday.
