Woman Caught 'Three Times Over Limit' With Newborn In Car
A Huntingdale woman has allegedly been caught driving three times over the limit with two children, including a newborn, in the car.
Police say they saw a white Ford Territory driving along Corfield Street in Gosnells about 7.20pm, when they noticed the driver seemed to have difficulty in controlling the vehicle.
They also said the car had drifted out of its lane.
The driver, a 33-year-old woman, allegedly failed a preliminary breath test.
A family member arrived soon after to pick up two children who were in the vehicle at the time before the driver was taken to Gosnells Police Station for a secondary breath test.
The children were 18 months old and six weeks old.
She allegedly recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.15% and is yet to be charged by summons.
