Bernard Tomic has made a disgusting comment towards a US Open spectator during his first round match against Damir Dzumhur.
Tomic has sparked a fresh controversy at Flushing Meadows after struggling during the opening sets of his match against the world No. 72.
The Aussie 23-year-old appeared to be annoyed at something said to him by a spectator sitting at the back of the Old Grandstand Practice Court 6 late in the first set.
"I will put my balls in your mouth" and "I will give you some money to make you feel good". Quotes: Bernard Tomic pic.twitter.com/sxGoyON0MU— Alex (@tennisguru100) August 30, 2016
After turning away from the spectator back to Dzumhur during his opponent’s service game, the live television microphones picked up Tomic firing back.
“I will put my balls in your mouth,” Tomic was heard to say.
“I will give you some money to make you feel good.”
The microphones also picked up Tomic telling the spectator to: “Suck my balls”.
Tomic went on to lose the first set 6-4.
