Carmen and Fitzi’s Ten Grand Jury - Tuesday wrap
Imagine being locked in a room with five strangers with no access to family, friends or the real world. You do, however, have a one-in-six chance of walking out of there with $10,000.
Welcome to Carmen and Fitzi’s Ten Grand Jury.
For just one hour per day, the jurors come together in the Hyatt Regency Deliberation Room and make their case for who deserves to take home the $10,000 cash.
No deals, no splitting. GAH.
And things are getting aggressive.
We learned that Katie, the juror with the military background, took Rainbow Warrior-supporter Michael, to task over why he deserved the $10,000.
"I think it’s great that you’re a vegan, I just don’t know if I can trust a man who doesn’t eat meat," she deadpanned.
"Well that’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard in my life," Michael fired back.
He was later grilled about exactly what his idea for his humanitarian movement was.
"Complete change," he said.
Michael said he can achieve this “on a grand scale” by kickstarting a world first project, implementing an algorithm which would see robots growing and cultivating vegetable gardens around Perth.
Graham, who wants to send his daughter to Space Camp in the US, wasn’t having any of it.
"Does charity not start by not looking at the grander scheme, but making one small change?"
Aiden, who wants to make his family home more accessible for his mother who’s health has deteriorated from fighting cancer, has vowed to be more aggressive in the coming deliberations after his story was hijacked by humanitarian Michael.
Tiarna, who was recently made redundant from her budding career in real estate, revealed she is an actress
