Of the 4500 people who submitted a clip, Peter Carstairs could be taking home $US1 million and the chance to work with Hollywood blockbuster director Zack Snyder.
The competing ads include David Rudy's Swipe for Doritos which mimics Tinder's awkward dating process as well as Jacob Chase's Dorito Dogs, a pack of cheeky pups that refuse to let anything stop them from scoring a pack of Doritos.
The ad which cost the Aussie creator around $3000, features an ultrasound of an unborn baby who craves Doritos so badly, it forces the mother into labour.
Carstairs says the idea behind his ad came during his wife, actress Sibylla Budd's pregnancy for their second child, Freddy.
"Wouldn't it be funny to have a little fun in the hospital room, where everyone is supposed to remain poised, calm and collected," the creator's Doritos biography said.
The 45-year-old film creator currently directs commercials and various projects in Australia but says he has always dreamed of making it to Hollywood.
So far, the ad has been seen online by over 60 billion people already and it has been shared by 1.5 billion people.
According to Fortune, a 30-second commercial spot during the Super Bowl costs up to $US5 million ($A7.06 million).
