Elliot Yeo: Nic Nat, Optus Stadium & Smashed Avo

The drought could be over for West Coast ruckman Nic Naitanui as he declared himself “ready to go”.

His return to AFL after a knee reconstruction has been gradual, but he told Seven News that he feeling as good as he’s ever going to be.

“I probably feel about 90, 95 per cent,” he said.

In his first appearance on 96FM, teammate Elliot Yeo told Paul & Lise that Nic Nat could very well get the call-up, particularly if he gets through Thursday’s training session.

Paul queried Yeo on how coach Adam Simpson would feel about Nic Nat declaring that he was ready to play.

“Isn’t that a decision for Simmo and the selection committee?” he asked.

“Yeah, you’re probably right,” Yeo said.

“But look, if he says he’s fit… the coach and the match committee will probably look at that for a bit of confidence… but it’s a big fingers crossed.”

Yeo also went through his own game day routine… and admits which Eagle puts away the most smashed avo.
