Glen Jakovich's Prediction About Buddy Franklin Is MASSIVE

“If you want to see where your footy team is going, take a look at how the captains are going.”

That’s the big tip from Eagles legend, Glen Jakovich.

He told Paul & Lise that, particularly at the beginning of the year, there is a lot of negativity surrounding the Dockers and the Eagles, such as their “coaching philosophies, style of play, will he play, can he stand up, he should retire.”

However, on the eve of Round 4, things didn’t actually look so negative.

“To be both entrenched in the 8, both have got winnable games over the next three to four weeks which can really start to cement where they can be,” Jako said.

“If you did a Brownlow count after Round 3, Tom Mitchell would have 9 and Nat Fyfe would have 6.”

Then he looked at both skippers.

“Nat Fyfe has been outstanding,” Jako said of the Freo superstar.

“Selfless play, it’s not about Nat… what I’ve admired from the commentary box is that he’s bringing in the young players… he’s leading by example.”

He said the same of the Eagles’ Shannon Hurn.

“He’s been criticised a fair bit, but he’s tracking as one of the best kickers in the competition,” Jako said.

“Also, he’s leading by example, he’s rolling his sleeves up past the elbows and getting dirty and getting to work and his team mates are following”

Jako gushed about Mark Le Cras, who will be playing his 200th game this weekend against the Suns.

“Only 3 per cent of AFL footballers do it,” he said. As in, manage to play 200 games.

Le Cras is also celebrating with Nic Nat who’ll be playing his 150th game.

Grab a cuppa, kick back and check out the video up top of Jako’s predictions and comments – his prediction about Buddy Franklin is nothing short of MASSIVE.
