If WCE Didn't Exist, Yeo Would Want To Play For... Say What

If the West Coast Eagles didn’t exist, Elliot Yeo said he would play for… Fremantle.

Yeo made the eyebrow-raising revelation on Wednesday morning during his usual chat with Paul & Lise.

The guys had just wrapped chatting about West Coast locking down second spot on the AFL ladder with their breezy 26-point win over Brisbane, meaning the Eagles will now play two finals at Optus Stadium, starting with a qualifying final against Collingwood.

Like they did with David Mundy on Tuesday, Paul & Lise were having a bit of fun with Yeo with some ‘getting to know you’ questions when Lise asked who he’d play for if the Eagles didn’t exist.

“Uh, I’d probably play for the only Perth team… which would be Fremantle.”

Paul’s response was at first, low-key guttural before deadpanning: “Ross Lyon just drove off the road.”

If West Coast win both their home finals, they will go straight through to the grand final.
