Is It OK To Flash Your Lights To Warn Of Speed Cameras?
You know the situation, you’re driving along and a motorist going the opposite way flashes their lights.
Even if you’re going the limit, your instinct is to slow down.
Moments later, you pass a speed camera.
On Monday, Lise said that it was “the Australian way”.
“I reckon if you high beam someone and give them a bit of a flash of the lights, let them know there’s a speed camera up ahead, you’re winning in life.”
Paul said it felt like community.
Lise agreed that it felt like a hug from the other driver, that they saved you a couple of hundred bucks.
“I don’t even know who you are, but I love you.”
BUT IS IT LEGAL?
We threw open the phones to find out, check out the video up top.
