Paul & Lise Give Shannon Noll a 'What About Nollsie' Tribute

It was a case of déjà vu for Shannon Noll during the finale of ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ on Monday night.

The singer-songwriter, after spending weeks in the South African jungle as part of the reality show, found himself in a familiar position of being one of the final two contestants left standing.

In 2003, Noll was the first runner-up on the first season of Australian Idol after Guy Sebastian took out the title.

This time, it was fellow contestant, comedian Fiona O'Loughlin.

The well-wishing flooded social media, even a special message from Guy Sebastian…

“Last time I wished you luck, it was on the Idol stage, that didn’t pan out very well,” Sebastian said.

“Hopefully, it will pan out better this time. Good luck!”

On Tuesday morning, Paul put it simply…

“Poor Shannon Noll, coming second again,” he said before announcing that he was going to pay him a “decent tribute”.

Paul then launched into a re-imagining of ‘What About Me’.

It’s the third time Noll has appeared on reality TV and, well, not won.

In April 2012, he competed on Dancing With The Stars but was forced to withdraw after he copped a serious spinal injury while rehearsing with his dance partner, Elena Samodanova.

Check out Paul’s homage up top.
