A woman is fighting for life after being attacked by a 600kg cow southwest of Brisbane.
The woman, aged in her 70s, was rammed and trampled by the animal at a Peak Crossing property south of Ipswich about 6.30pm on Wednesday.
She reportedly sustained substantial chest injuries.
“She was conscious but paramedics were extremely concerned about the trauma and significant injuries she suffered … The injuries were very concerning,” a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman told the Queensland Times.
She was rushed to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
