Looks like our favourite group of friends are going to be there for us after all!
While it’s something we’ve all been BEGGING for for a long time, and they always said it wouldn’t happen, we’re now hearing that somewhat of a reunion is in the works for cult fav sitcom FRIENDS!
According to the Hollywood Reporter, HBO Max is currently working on a FRIENDS reunion special, which is set to be completely unscripted.
While the deal has not yet been finalised yet according to a source for the publication, it’s believed that Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Lisa Cudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer are all on board.
It’s also believed that show creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman will also be part of the special.
Some of the finer details are yet to be worked out, such as the busy schedules of all of the stars, with the source warning, “that talks could fizzle and the whole concept could fall apart”.
No word yet on what exactly the FRIENDS reunion special could explore, but as long as Ross and Rachel are still together we’ll be happy with literally anything!
This comes just a short time after Jennifer Aniston confirmed on The Ellen Show that the entire cast were working on a project together.
The cast also had their own mini reunion recently, with a brilliant selfie capturing the moment on Jen Aniston’s new Instagram account.
We can’t wait to find out more details about this FRIENDS special! We’ll be keeping everything crossed that it goes ahead.
