Burger King has low-key trolled US President Donald Trump over his tweet about ordering “hamberders” for an exclusive celebratory dinner at the White House.
The dinner was held for the winners of the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship, the Clemson University Tigers.
Thing is, the White House is currently affected by a shutdown where US Government employees across the country simply aren’t getting paid. So, instead of a 5-star spread, Trump provided an ‘all American feast’ of Macca’s, Wendy’s and Burger King nosh.

Trump, of course, tweeted about it:
“Because of the Shutdown I served them massive amounts of Fast Food (I paid), over 1000 hamberders etc”
He was immediately dragged for the typo, and the tweet was deleted and reposted with the correct spelling… but Burger King wasn’t letting him off that easily:
due to a large order placed yesterday, we’re all out of hamberders.

Twitter’s response has been pretty standard:
This is art.
We’ll be stopping by sometime in the next week, solely on the basis on this tweet.

I’d like 600 hamberders, 300 freedom fries, 300 covfefe’s, and a diet coke with extra ice. pic.twitter.com/CdLgOymf4E
