Hollywood legend Christopher Walken left jaws on the floor during a chat about his new film Wild Mountain Thyme on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
The 77-year old admitted that he’s never owned a computer… or a mobile phone.
The computer he was using to do the virtual chat with Colbert had been provided.
“Someone came over and set this up because I don’t have a cell phone or a computer,” he said.
When asked why, he simply said that technology “just passed me by,” and that eventually it became too late to hop on the bandwagon.
“I never got involved in it because it would be strange to have a 10-year-old be better at it than I am.”
He added that he’s never sent a text or an email.
“A cell phone, it is a little like a watch – if you need it, someone else has got it,” he said.
When he’s filming a movie, Walken is provided with a phone, but it’s only “so they can find me.”
