There are big changes coming to Coles stores.
The supermarket giant announced a new strategy focussing on “food-for-now” and “food-for-later” products.
This will involve converting some 200 Coles supermarkets to “a more premium, convenience-focused format”, according to Inside Retail.
These stores will add 75 new product lines for their ready-to-eat offerings – eg. breakfast foods, curries, stir-fry kits etc.
“Making life easier for our customers means enabling our customers to fulfill their shopping needs ‘anytime, anywhere’,” a Coles spokesperson told Inside Retail.
“We know our customers’ needs are changing rapidly and we are evolving our offer accordingly.”
