A young couple from Adelaide’s Huntfield Heights are engaged after a marriage proposal with a difference outside the Adelaide Airport on valentine’s Day.
It was Emily – not Daniel – who spent six weeks planning the perfect proposal to the love of her life.
As they arrived back in Adelaide on Valentine’s Day from a holiday in India, there was a group of dancers ready outside the terminal with a choreographed routine to Sigala’s ‘Sweet Lovin’’.
Emily and Daniel watched on arm-in-arm until Jason Derulo’s ‘Marry Me’ started and Emily dropped to one knee, holding out a watch and mouthing the ‘will you marry me’ lyrics in time with the music.
Daniel seemed quick to say yes and Emily got back to her feet, shared a kiss, and they told each other ‘I love you’.
Emily told Channel 7 she had decided to do a flash mob proposal because she had been watching them on YouTube and loved them.
The couple posed for TV cameras with a pink cut-out love heart.
