It’s 2021, so everyone’s a target of cancel culture – not even musicals are immune.

Those who fly somewhat closer to the cancel culture sun than others are comedians, and Urzila Carlson is well aware of it.

“I’ve said some stuff that has offended groups of people, like cyclists,” she told Clairsy & Lisa during a chat about her new show, It’s Personal.

“Sometimes you’ll say something on stage and people will say, ‘I didn’t like what you said about cyclists’ and I’m like, ‘I hear what you’re saying’, umm, and, you know, ‘I hear what you’re saying’.”

She revealed that while her comedy can be unapologetically offensive to some, she follows a rule to stop her crossing the line to causing actual harm.
