You can take the girl out of Perth, but you really can’t take the Perth out of Isla Fisher.
Over the weekend, not only was the Hollywood actress on the jury for CinefestOZ, but also picked up the festival’s Screen Legend Award.
Clairsy was lucky enough to catch up with Fisher on the red carpet for a chat, where she revealed what she loves to indulge in when back home.
“I usually like to swim at Cottesloe Beach and eat a bag of Killer Pythons,” she told him.

But there’s one memory of Fisher’s that nothing would ever beat.
“Nothing will beat having my birthday in the plane at McDonald’s in Midland,” of course referring to the Douglas DC3 ‘party plane’ which was parked outside McDonald’s for nearly 15 years.
Seriously does this girl get any more relatable.

FYI the Macca’s plane, often referred to as the Flying Hamburger, now lives at a property in Myalup after McDonald’s had the plane taken away to the old RAAF base in Caversham over (like a lot of fun things in the ‘90s) occupational health and safety reasons.
